The E-coating also called KTL is a primenring dip paining method developed for the car inductry. With this primering method every metal can be painted, which delivers electricity. Building up the layer of the paint is made of dipping into the paint bath. For this reason all closed area, and overlapped area are painted, which gives you the result of well made surface treatment. As it is a primering method most KTL primered parts must be overpainted by UV protective paint. The KTl paint itself is not UV protectiv, but nevertheless it give you very good corrosion protection. We can offer to you the corrosion protection value up to 700-1000 hour cycling salt spray test.
